In 2009, L’Oréal SA received the Diversity Label in France from the Minister of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Inclusive Development. The label recognizes L’Oréal SA’s commitment towards promoting equal opportunities, diversity and non-discrimination.
The process for obtaining the Label involves an analysis of the company's diversities and its anti-discrimination policies in its activities, and its Human Resources management.
Once this process is completed, the Diversity label is awarded by AFNOR Certification, an independent external body, on the recommendation of the permanent commission of labeling, associated with the French Government, trade unions and the ANDRH (National Association of Human Resources Directors).
After signing the Diversity Charter in 2004, obtaining the Label supports L’Oréal 's continuous efforts to constantly improve policies towards equal opportunity and promoting diversity in the workplace.
