L’Oréal has nearly 69,000 employees in 130 countries. They work in areas as varied as scientific research, marketing and managing the supply chain. In order for the Group to achieve its objectives the Human Resources management team has to be in contact with and mobilise each individual. It does this by developing and implementing innovative Human Resources policies suited to the local context. Working with the managers, HR managers ensure the selection, integration and individual monitoring of talent. They respond to needs for training, encouraging diversity, supporting career management and succession planning, facilitating effective deployment of remuneration and employee benefits and acting as consultants on personnel management problems.
